RE: Welcome to the forums everybody!!
Thanks @ruantec-man for the welcome Smile

I have a quick question though, I was wondering why you made me a moderator, because I wasn't informed beforehand so I am unsure to the reasoning.

Also I think I may of found a bug, possibly theme related. When I click the private messages link in the welcomeblock on the top I get redirected to the forum index when it should take me to the private.php page.

Just thought I'd make you aware of this.

:Edit: The issue I mentioned above is indeed a template issue, it seems the links in the header_welcomeblock_member or memberblock template is not going to the correct oages but rather the forums index. Editing the links in the correct template should fix this.

Login/logout, usercp and register links are doing the same thing as above, they take you to the forum index rather than the right page. Seems to be a recent bug as I don't remember these when I first registered.

I don't know if it's a template issue with the links or if it's a cookies issue. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I was just a little puzzled that's all, not that it's a big deal. I don't mind helping out with moderation a bit.

However it is your decision to keep me as a moderator or reset me back to my normal group..... Smile

I'm having some small lapses in activity on other forums because of college courses so if I'm not on all that much that is the reason why, but I'll try to be active as possible.

Big Grin RE: Welcome to the forums everybody!!
Greetings everyone!
I am also glad to be back at the forum, I missed it so much!Smile
And I must admit, this new forum is quite the appealing one to that fact, though not as feature-filled as the previous one yet. But anyways, I must congratulate @ruantec & hatori for an excellent job well done with bringing back the forum!Big Grin

RE: Welcome to the forums everybody!!
yea it does not have all the bells and whistles the last one had, but if there is a way to get those features we will look, but to that end, if there is anything you'd like feel free to post a request and either me or @ruantec or anyone else who can modify the forum, will see about putting it in, though there is no guarantee everything can/will be put in but we sure will try Big Grin

RE: Welcome to the forums everybody!!
Yeah even though Mybb lacks some features that the expensive paid bulletin board software has, it is still a wonderful piece of software that is light on resources and feature packed.

The plugin system has to be the greatest thing as it is extremely simplistic and allows for easier modification of the forum, with a majority of the mods there is basically no core file edits required with the exception of very few modifications, you just basically upload and activate. Big Grin

RE: Welcome to the forums everybody!!
yea, i am liking this forum more and more as i mess with it, and very easy to make changes to it as well. also it does not take half an hour to find out how to make a simple change like vb did though vb was still nice don't get me wrong, just mybb was designed to be easier to handle.
